Look no further than Tripadvisor for a list of all the things you can do in Orlando......theme parks, shopping, shows, Disney, Airboat rides......
One of the main places to stay is along International Drive, which is known as I-drive and is an 11.1 mile long thoroughfare in Orlando, and is the city's main tourist strip. By using the area's exclusive and convenient I-RIDE Trolley service you can sit back and ride up and down the miles of fun that make up the International Drive Resort Area.
Universal Boulevard runs roughly parallel to International Drive from the Beachline Expressway north, then crosses I-Drive at Wet 'n Wild. A great hotel practically beside Wet n Wild, and beside a trolley stop is The Point.
This hotel has a great pool and rooms have washer/dryers. If you stay on I-drive you don't need to hire a car but if you want to venture further such as Tampa or the Kennedy Space Centre, then you will need a car for convenience.
